Mouse anti-Human CD45RO (unconjugated), Clone UCH-L1, IgG2a, Ready-to-use
Ready-to-use Antibody for Immunohistochemistry
Background Human CD45RO
The monoclonal antibody E027 (UCHL1) recognizes a T cell-associated antigen with a molecular weight of approximately 180 kDA. This is the low molecular weight isoform of the leucocyte common antigen (LCA) CD45, which since the IV International Workshop on Leucocyte Differentiation Antigens (Vienna 1989) has been designated CD45RO). The antigen is expressed by a functional subset of CD4+ T cells, by most thymocytes, and by granulocytes and monocytes. Studies of B- and T-cell lymphomas and plasmocytes suggest that CD45RO (UCHL1) is expressed in normal B cells prior to differentiation to plasma cells, but plasmocytomas are negative except for a few reactive lymhpozytes. Negative for CD45RO are also cutaneous T-cell lymphomas (mostly CD4+, CD45R-). |
