Background

This antibody can be used to label kappa chain-bearing immunoglobulin on the surface of normal and neoplastic B cells. Furthermore, it is also suitable for the visualization of Bence Jones and extracellular Ig kappa chains

Reagents sufficient for about 50-100 tissue sections

  • 1 dropper bottle HISTOPRIME® Kappa light chain (Bottle, 5 ml)

Antigen

Purified human IgG from myeloma (coupled to polyaminostyrene)

Specificity

Human light Ig chain type Kappa

Control Tissue

Tonsils

Clone

KP-53

Isotype

Mouse lgG1

Fusion Partners

E058 is prepared from immunoglobulins of mouse ascites. Mouse hybridoma cells were obtained by fusion of myeloma cells with spleen cells from immunized mice.

The monoclonal antibody reacts specifically with the kappa chain of human immunoglobulins and is independent of their isotope. No cross-reactions with lambda-type light chains occur.

Pretreatment

Proteolytic pretreatment with 0.1% Pronase) (LINARIS CatNr E110) 10 minutes at room temperature

Incubation Period

1 hour at room temperature after pretreatment or overnight at 37°C. (without proteolytic pretreatment)

Usage

Ready-to-use in PBS, BSA, NaN3 (0,09%) pH 7,4(*) suitable on cryostat sections and on formalin-fixed, paraffin-embedded tissue sections.

Control Tissue

Tonsils
