Normal Sheep Serum, w/Preservative 0,08% NaN3; Non Sterile
Blocking Reagent vor Immunohistochemistry
Background
Normal sheep serum can be used for blocking non-specific conserved sequence and/or Fc receptor binding.
Typically, the serum used for blocking is from a different species than the species in which the primary antibody was raised. Often the blocking serum is from the species in which the secondary antibody was raised.
When searchers choose their serum, an important factor that should be taken into consideration is the source, which also emphasizes the traceability of the serum. Our system of vertical integration allows us to be certain of the origin and traceability of our serum. The serum is imported and treated in agreement with the European regulations. It is heat treated at 56°C for 30 minutes.
